Privacy Notice — RESULT Fitness
Privacy Notice
What we collect, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, and the control you have over it.
Last updated: August 2026. RESULT Fitness (also trading as RESULT Performance Coaching) is the data controller for the personal information described here. Coaching is delivered from PureGym Palmers Green, Green Lanes, London N13 4JD. Contact myresult.fitness@gmail.com or +44 7584 688834.
1Information we collect
- Enquiry details — your name, email, phone number and whatever you tell us, submitted through our enquiry form or sent to us directly by email, phone or message.
- Booking details — name, email, the session type and the times you book, collected when you book through our scheduling tool.
- Purchase details — the package bought, amount, currency and payment status. Card details are entered directly with our payment provider and are never held by us.
- Email signups — the email address you give us for newsletter or supplements updates on this website, stored in the RESULT website database.
- Coaching and health information — the health questionnaire (PAR-Q), injuries, relevant medical background, goals, measurements and training records, where you provide them so we can coach you safely.
- Technical information — basic website and server logs such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps, generated automatically when you visit the site.
- Analytics — aggregate usage statistics collected by Google Analytics, only where you have accepted analytics cookies.
2Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To answer your enquiry and discuss coaching — our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
- To take bookings, deliver coaching and manage your account — performance of our contract with you.
- To take and reconcile payments and keep financial records — performance of our contract and our legal obligations.
- To train you safely and adapt your programme to your health and injury history — performance of our contract, with health information handled under the additional condition of protecting your vital interests or with your explicit consent where required.
- To send you newsletter or product updates — your consent, given when you sign up.
- To keep the website secure and working, and to understand how it is used — our legitimate interest in running and improving the site.
3Health and PAR-Q information
Health and PAR-Q information is treated as a special category of personal data. It is collected and used only to coach you safely and is kept separate from marketing data. We never use health information for marketing, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.
4Service providers who process data for us
We use a small number of established providers to run the business:
- Jotform — hosts our enquiry and questionnaire forms and delivers submissions to us.
- Calendly — session scheduling and booking confirmations.
- Stripe — payment processing for one-off purchases and recurring coaching.
- Supabase — the database behind this website, where email signups are stored.
- Our website hosting and email providers — to serve the site and receive your messages.
- PT Distinction — our client coaching platform, used where applicable to deliver programmes, manage coaching check-ins and maintain session/progress records.
- Google Analytics — website usage measurement, used only if you accept analytics cookies.
These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your data for their own marketing. We do not sell your personal information.
5International transfers
Some of our providers are based outside the UK or process data on infrastructure outside the UK. Where that happens, the transfer relies on the safeguards those providers put in place, such as UK approved standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision. You can ask us for more detail about a specific provider.
6How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for. In practice that means:
- Enquiries that do not become clients are kept for a reasonable period while there is a realistic prospect of coaching, then deleted.
- Client coaching and health records are kept for the duration of coaching and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can pick up safely if you return and to protect against claims.
- Financial and transaction records are kept for the period required by UK tax and accounting law.
- Marketing signups are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.
We have not published fixed retention periods for each category; if you want to know how long we are holding something specific, ask us and we will tell you.
7Marketing choices
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe option in the email, or by emailing myresult.fitness@gmail.com. Unsubscribing does not stop essential messages about coaching you have booked or paid for.
8Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Ask us to delete data where we no longer have a good reason to keep it
- Object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing
- Withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent, such as marketing
- Ask for your data in a portable format where that right applies
To exercise any of these, email myresult.fitness@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) if you are unhappy with how we have handled your data — though we would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
9Security
We use reputable providers, access controls and limited-access accounts to protect your information, and only the coach and anyone genuinely needed to run the business can access client records. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable and proportionate steps to keep your data safe and to act quickly if something goes wrong.
10Cookies, analytics and website data
This website uses only what is needed to serve pages and keep the site working. Analytics is optional: Google Analytics is not loaded at all unless you choose “Accept analytics” on our cookie banner. When enabled, it measures things like visits, pages viewed and interactions with the site, in aggregate, so we can see what is useful and improve RESULT Fitness.
You can reject analytics, and you can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Your choice is stored in your browser so we do not have to ask on every visit; that record is functional only and is not used to track you. Embedded services such as booking, forms and payments may set their own cookies when you interact with them, governed by their own privacy notices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
